A Brush with Kindness (ABWK) is Habitat’s exterior home repair program that helps preserve homeownership by partnering with low-income homeowners who cannot afford the necessary maintenance. To provide affordable repairs for qualified low-income homeowners, Habitat leverages volunteer labor. Volunteers weatherize homes, replace warped doors and windows, repair entry stairs and stucco, paint gutters and exteriors, and more. Many of the homeowners who receive assistance are single parents, the elderly, people with disabilities, and veterans.
Who does ABWK help
