Completed Developments

Habitat Santa Barbara has completed four multi-family affordable housing developments in our service area. These projects have provided a total of 22 new homes for 84 people, 50% of which are children, who previously lived in substandard housing, with a safe, stable and affordable home.

Via Lucero Affordable Homes: Completed in 2007, this 3-home development in the upper State Street neighborhood of Santa Barbara is providing safe and affordable housing for 13 people, including 7 children.

San Pascual Affordable Homes: Completed in 2010, this 4-home development on the lower west side of Santa Barbara is providing safe and affordable housing for 13 people, including 6 children.

Canon Perdido Affordable Homes: Completed in 2014, this 12-home development on the east side of Santa Barbara is providing safe and affordable housing for 44 people, including 22 children.


Sawyer Avenue Affordable Homes: Completed in 2019, this 3-home development in Carpinteria is providing safe and affordable housing for 14 people, including 8 children.

What’s Next?
Habitat Santa Barbara is currently in the planning phase of our next affordable homeownership project, but in the meantime we are focused on our Home Repair Programs.
