On Saturday, August 5th, Habitat for Humanity of Southern Santa Barbara County will be hosting our first Playhouse Build-a-thon at St Joseph’s Church in Carpinteria. How does it work?
Each playhouse takes 3-5 hours to build and paint with the help of 7-10 volunteers. The playhouse is pre-cut, so your team can just build, decorate, and paint the house. If you have a large group, you may want to choose to build multiple houses at once. Sponsorship of playhouses starts at $100 per participant.
Where do the playhouses go?
Once the playhouse is built, it will be donated to a local family or youth-oriented non-profit organization.
