Susan is a fundraising and communications professional with over 19 years of experience working in public affairs and the nonprofit sector. She has worked for a number of nonprofit organizations throughout the country, helping them meet their goals even during complicated and challenging times.
Susan is also a professional writer and editor, and has served as the editor for a civic association newspaper as well as working as a freelance writer. Her features have appeared in publications including The Gotham Gazette and The South Magazine.
Susan volunteered on her first Habitat build in New York City more than 20 years ago. Susan lives in Santa Barbara with her family, and in her spare time enjoys singing with the Santa Barbara Choral Society and exploring the Central Coast.
