Corporate and Group Volunteers

Corporations or other volunteer groups can donate and encourage their teams to partner with Habitat Santa Barbara on a construction site or in a neighborhood requiring revitalization for a life-changing team-building experience to build homes, communities, and hope. We ask for a minimum $2,500 gift for team-building days.

Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative

Volunteers will participate in our Neighborhood Revitalization program. Habitat for Humanity’s Neighborhood Revitalization Programs assist low-income individuals, families, and seniors with necessary home repairs, accessibility modifications, and aging-in-place adaptations to remain safely in their homes.

A Brush with Kindness

A Brush With Kindness

Volunteer opportunities are available to support external home improvement projects which may include landscaping, exterior painting, and small repairs. All skills are welcome and training is provided. Up to 10 volunteers per four hour shift can participate; multiple shifts in one day may be available.

Home Repair

Community Restoration

We offer team builds through a partnership with local neighborhoods to clean up streets – activities include neighborhood clean ups, public landscaping, and painting public and/or community spaces. Up to 30 volunteers can participate per two to four hour shifts; multiple shifts in one day may be available.

Scheduling

Group Volunteer days are scheduled in coordination with our homeowners and their existing needs and therefore teams must be flexible in selecting dates and project types. We will do our best to accommodate your team’s schedule and project preferences. We generally ask that you provide us with your preferred schedule 60 days in advance so we can work with the homeowners and our contractors on selecting a date. Thank you for your understanding!
